School Acheivements 2009-2010

Olympaids:

School received a Science Intellectual trophy awarded by SOF for continued support rendered by school towards popularization of science , maths  and IT.

ü     Social Science and Science Exhibition

1. In Cluster level Social Science exhibition 37 students participated in project preparation, group song, group dance, quiz, Hindi and English debate.
2. 06 projects of our Vidyalaya were selected for National Level Exhibition.
3. Ku. Anubha of Class IX secured I^st position in English Debate Competition and represented the Cluster at Regional level.
4. 06 Students of Class XI and XII participated in preparation of models and projects at Regional Level Science Exhibition held at K.V. CPE , Itarsi.
5. 02 Students also represented the Vidyalaya in Quiz competition.

ü     SUPW, Art & Music.

1. Innovative models and projects have been prepared by our students under SUPW and Craft work.
2.  02 Students of Class VIII of our Vidyalaya secured III^rd position in the poster making competition organized by Eye Deptt G.M.C.H. Nagpur.

Curricular Activities:-

ü     Games & Sports

1. 30 Boys and 19 girls participated at Cluster level in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, throw ball , cricket , chess and athletics. Out of these 2 boys and 3 girls in Kho-Kho , 4 boys and 5 girls in Kabaddi and 3 girls in throw ball were selected for Regional meet.
2. Ku. Neha Binita of Class VIII participated in swimming competition at Regional level and secured 3^rd Position.
3. The same student participated at National Level and bagged 3^rd position.

ü     Scouts and Guides.

1. The Vidyalaya hosted Dwitiya Sopan testing camp from 29-10-09 to 31-10-09. A total of 90 scouts, 80 guides from 13 schools of Nagpur Cluster participated in the same.
2. The grand camp fire was organized on 31-10-09 which was graced by hon’ble chairman & nominee chairman V.M.C .
3. A cash award of Rs 5000/- was announced by the chairman V.M.C for the promotion of company curricular activities.

ü     Co curricular activities & inter school competitions.

1. Mast Surendranathan Shiva and Aditya Surendranathan of class V and class IV won CDs worth Rs 399/- and Rs 495/- resp. Olympiad conducted by SOF.
2. All India Inter school personality content 2009 was organized by Oxford Speaker’s Academy in which 02 students of the Vidyalaya participated . 
3. Ku. Anubha was adjudged as I^st runner up out of 750 candidates represented by Private, Public & Govt. schools. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2000/- , a bicycle, a book, a medal as a token of great achievement.
4. Ku. Neha Binata of class VIII represented the Vidyalaya in the open state District Level Swimming Championship 2009 and secured III^rd position.
5. In NSTSE, Master Shiva of Class V and Mast. Aditya of Class IV  stood I^st & II^nd respectively in Nagpur district & Maharashtra state .A scholarship of Rs 8000/- was awarded to it.
6. Mast. Ratan Guha of Class X secured 3^rd position at regional level and 13^th position at National level in Junior Maths Olympiad organized by KVS. 
7. In another National Science Talent Search examination 2010 , Mast. S. Aditya of Class IV , Mast. S. Shiva of Class V & Ku. Pallavi Waghmare of class XI secured I^st ,II^nd and III^rd position  respectively in Nagpur city.

SKIT& TALENT

Mr.S.Aditya and Mr.S.Shiva of class V AND VI appeared for state level scholarship exam “PRADNYA JYOTI” conducted by G.H.Raisoni Group and Institution in the field of academics and secured 1st Rank in District Level and also 1st Rank in the State ranking for which they were given gold medals, trophies and a cash award of 2000and 6000 along with a certificate of merit. Both of them brought laurels for the school by their sincere efforts. The examination covered G.K. as well as History subjects.

A group of students {15 girls and 12boys}escorted by four teachers went to community hall,C.Rly and participated in Tree Plantation Day and contributed in making the universe “Pollution Free”
