                INAUGURATION OF NEW BUILDING OF KV AJNI

 Inauguration of the Newly constructed building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Ajni  was held on  1st July 2010 by Shri Avinash Dikshit (I.D.A.S.), Hon’ble Commissioner K.V.S. New Delhi in the august presence of Shri Devendra Kumar Sharma (IRSEE), Hon’ble Chairman, V.M.C. & D.R.M. Central Railway Nagpur.

On this auspicious occasion Ms. H.K.Sanhotra Asstt. Commissioner K.V.S. Bhopal Region and Shri Prakash Madan E.O. were present accorded by Principal V.Narula gave a floral welcome.

Ms. H.K. Sanhotra Asstt. Commissioner K.V.S.Bhopal, Shri P.Madan E.O. KVS Bhopal, Shri Devendra Kumar Sharma D.R.M. Central Railway & Chairman VMC, Shri Shailendra Jaiswal A.D.R.M. Central Railway, Shri R.B. Singh Chief Engineer C.P.W.D. and  V.M.C. Members of the Vidyalaya. Mrs.Veneeta Narula, Principal K.V.Ajni & Principals of neighbouring Vidyalayas and other dignitaries were present.

 

In the evening a grant cultural program was organized at Scientific Hall in the Honour of Hon Commissioner K.V.S.(HQ) New Delhi by the students of all the KV’s of Nagpur followed by the open session for the teachers.

In his speech Shri Avinash Dikshit ( I.D.A.S.) Commissioner K.V.S. congratulated the Students, teachers, and all the officials. He appealed the

teachers to follow CCE (Continuous comprehensive evaluation) to impart the New Education policies for reaching the goal.

Shri P.Madan E.O. Bhopal Region and Mrs. Veneeta Narula Principal proposed vote of thanks.

Mr.R.S.Singh,Mr Sawarkar,and  Ms.Suchitra Mate compelled the programme.

  REPORT ON PROGRAM ORGANISED ON DRUG DAY

 

 A program was organized at K.V.Ajni to make the children aware about the negative effects of Drug Abuse and illicit trafficking on the international day against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

The children of the primary section demonstrated a skit ‘ Bad Company’ where as the children with their one act play named ‘Paschatap’ {repentance
} tried to convey the message of bad effects of Drug addiction and illicit trafficking. Bhavana Pawan of class 8th deliver her speech related to the topic. Mr. Dinesh Chhapane addressed the assembly and he has given the current example of the death of the popular pop singer of the world, who lost his life due to Drug Addiction. Mrs. Vineeta Narula, principal of the school congratulated the N.A.E.P department of the school and the children who participated on the occasion.


INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

   Kendriya Vidyalaya Ajni, Nagpur celebrated the 62nd Independence Day with great zeal and zest. The chief guest of the occasion Dr. S. R. Wate, Scientist & Head, Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment NEERI unfurled the tricolour which was followed by National Anthem.

 Mrs. Veneeta Narula, Principal who in her address exhorted that we all should join our hands together to take our country to further heights of glory. A cultural programme was organized with spirit of patriotism followed by a motivating speech by the chief guest with a message to the children to be brave and courageous to face the challenges of life. The chief guest gave away the trophies sponsored by the Hitvada to the meritorious students of class X, March 2009. Cash Prize of Rs.5100 and 2 VCDs were given away to Science Olympiad winners. Special prizes, offered by Sanskruti Bharati were given to the students who excelled in various other competitions. Mr. Dalvi, Administrative officer, NEERI also was present on the occasion. The sweets were distributed to the tiny tots by the chief guest Dr. S. R. Wate and Shri. Dalvi. The whole atmosphere reverberated with patriotic music.


 

KV AJNI CELEBRATES CHILREN’S DAY

To Commemorate the birth anniversary of Chacha Nehru K.V.Ajni celebrated Children’s day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Principal Smt.Veneeta Narula garlanded the portrait of Pt. Jawharlal Nehru which was followed by small cultural programme. Beautiful dances and melodious song were presented by the tiny lots. The day reminds to each and everyone of us to renew our commitment to the welfare of children and realize Chacha Nehru’s dream. The Principal of the Vidyalaya blessed the children for their bright future.

A funfair was organized in the Vidyalaya premises in which students under the supervision of Principal and staff put up stalls which was a blend of different culture and cast depicting unity in diversity. The children were engaged in fun and frolic tasting delicious cakes, wafers, hot gulab jamuns, mouth watering pani-puri, idli sambar, sevpuri, biscuits and pavbhaji. On this occasion Retired Principal of state Govt. School Kamptee Shri. Balwant Bhatere highlighted the history and importance of our National Flag. The gala celebration left sweet and lasting impression on the minds of the children.

Report on Social Science Exhibition

The Social Science Exhibition 2009 at school level was arranged on 10.08.09 in the school auditorium. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Honourable Education Officer Mr R.M .Shinde KVS, RO, Bhopal. Later at the cluster level exhibition a group of 36 students in various competitions took part at KV Kamptee. Ku Anubha of class IX was selected in English Debate competition to take part at regional level social Science Exhibition as she stood first at cluster level debate. Six exhibits of the Vidyalaya were selected for Regional Level Social Science Exhibition.

Grand camp fire at K V Ajni, Nagpur

A three day Dwitya Sopan testing camp of Nagpur cluster was organised by Bharat Scout & Guide,Bhopal division at K . V. Ajni from 29/10/09 to 31/10/09 under the able guidance of Mrs. Veeneta Narula venue director and Principal K.V.Ajni.

A total of 90 scouts ,80 guides from 13 school from Nagpur cluster participated in the camp. The grand camp fire a mega event of the camp was organised on 31/10/09 at 7:30 pm which was graced by the august presence of chairman VMC Shri D.K. Sharma DRM central railway Nagpur as chief guest, Shri S.Jaiswal , ADRM central railway and Mrs Jaiswal. The chief guest Shri D.K. Sharma lighted the Camp Fire with the massage of unity, peace, brotherhood and solidarity from four directions. These values enables the Scouts and Guides to march together with oneness, unity and brotherhood. The Children shared their experiences in the rosy winter chill under the self-made tent showing team spirit. Cultural programme presented by different schools kept the audience mesmerised.

The Guest of Honour Shri Jaiswal ADRM Central railways appealed to the children to remain focused on their goal to be successful in life.

The Chief Guest’s inspiring message to the children to shoulder responsibilities of the country and become good citizens of India was well received by the young scouts and guides . The Chief Guest announced a cash award of Rs.5000/- for KV Ajni for promoting curricular and co-curricular activities in the vidyalaya as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement.

The programme concluded with Bada Khana enjoyed by one and all.

A REPORT ON CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS' DAY

Teachers' Day was celebrated with great pomp and show in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ajni, Nagpur. The day began with the conduct of Morning Assembly by the teachers. The Principal along with the Student
Principal garlanded the portrait of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and readout the message of the President of India in English and Hindi .

The Student Principal delivered a speech highlighting the significance of the day. The student teachers of class XII playing the role of different teachers were introduced in the Morning Assembly.

The Student teachers honoured the Principal and teachers by presenting them flowers and greetings.

The teaching was imparted by class XII students from 1st to 5th period. Their classes were observed by a team of teachers appointed for the purpose. An informal discussion was held on Activity based Teaching and Constructivist Approach: NCF 2005.

The programme for second part of the day was equally interesting. The students of class XII planned systematically for it. A cultural programme was presented by them and some games were conducted for the teachers. The students were blessed and enlightened by the principal and teachers. The teachers who won the game were given away the prizes by the student principal. The student teachers who were adjudged the best teachers in each category i.e. PRT, Miscellaneous, TGT and PGT were honoured on the occasion by the Principal by giving away the prizes. A vote of thanks was proposed by the student Principal. In this way, programme came to an end.
